FROSTBORN: CO-OP SURVIVAL
Update 1.5
Mounts: horses, wolves and bears
With the 1.5 update, we are ready to ride! Literally - we introduce mounts that you can equip and use on outdoor locations.

There are three types of mounts available at the moment: horses, wolves and bears. Each type has several skins (visual appearance), distinctive basic characteristics (summoning type, speed, etc.), and ranks with different pools of useful perks.

For example, mounts can increase your moving speed on the world map, boost damage with certain types of weapon, decrease cooldown time of class spells, add more inventory slots, and so on. In other words, mounts are a great help in many situations!

To acquire the most basic mounts - wild horses of various kinds - you need to build a Horse Stall in your camp (or finalize its construction if you did set it up earlier). If you wish to exchange horses for more interesting mounts you'll need to visit Stable in New Heim. There you can trade-in mounts from your collection for new ones - with different perks, appearances, and higher ranks.

As usual, doing business in a popular district will cost you more - you have to spend some silver when exchanging mounts there. However, if you build a Stable in your district you can do this free of charge. So don't hesitate to invest resources in developing your section of New Heim!

While exchanging your rides at the Stable, take note, that mounts gain new perks with each rank. Besides, as the rank increases, there is a chance to unlock a new type of mount - for example, a wolf or a bear - with improved characteristics and unique perks.

Surely, there is a new Mounts section in the in-game shop, when you can get basic ranks horses. However, getting high ranks horses, as well as wolves and bears, will require a lot of effort, as they are not represented in the store.

Check the Trader while visiting New Heim. Now he will bring more resources (including more rare ones) to trade!

Now you may manually manage emotes available from the quick access menu. Look for the gears icon to open emotes settings and choose which ones you want to use.

With more analysis on the feedback of the Druid class, we decided to remove the passive damage bonus with any type of weapon. We boosted the druid's main attack instead. Now at rank I a hit deals 85% weapon damage and additional 30% weapon damage over time. At rank II a hit deals 100% weapon damage and the same additional 30% damage as DOT.

Among other changes and improvements:

Stunning Barrier of Thrasher rank I and II now properly stun enemies;

Fire Arrow now deals a correct amount of damage;

Fixed Shadowstep description;

Fixed FX visuals and timing for several spells;

Added new sounds for Jorgun Treacherous;

Fixed minor UI issues.

That's all, immortals! We dare not detain you any longer, because it is time to build stables and get used to the saddle!
